Kathleen Pasulka-Brown is a Partner in Pugh, Jones, Johnson & Quandt's
Litigation Practice Group. Prior to
joining the Firm, she was a Litigation Partner at the firm of Foley &
Lardner.
Ms. Pasulka-Brown has
extensive experience in general commercial litigation matters and also in
regulatory proceedings, particularly cases involving insurance coverage, energy
and telecommunications
Experience:
Litigated insurance
disputes involving coverage for property damage, bodily injury, advertising
injury, fiduciary liability, theft, fire and water damage and medical
expenses. She also has performed an
extensive claims analysis and evaluation for a reinsurer;
Represented a
major public utility in connection with audits of the reliability of its supply
and delivery service; defended against claim asserted by the Office of the
Attorney General; and participated in rate case proceedings; and
Represented both
wireline and wireless telecommunications carriers in regulatory proceedings
involving the negotiation and arbitration of interconnection agreements, an
expedited complaint proceeding involving service quality issues; a proceeding
to prevent a municipality's attempted prohibition of wireless service; and a
rulemaking initiated to establish service quality standards, which culminated
in appeals to the Illinois Appellate Court for the Fourth District.
